Interim Management Statement

Cathay International Holdings Limited ("CIHL" or "the Group") is issuing the following Interim Management Statement for the period from 1 July 2009 to 19 November 2009, in accordance with the UK Listing Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules. 

On 26 August 2009, CIHL announced the interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2009 of the Group.

On 18 November 2009, CIHL announced a Placing and Open Offer of 101,632,670 New Common Shares at 27.5 pence per share raising £27.9 million [£26.8 million (US$45 million) (net of expenses)]. The announcement can be found on the UKLA website at:

Apart from the above, there have been no material events or transactions affecting the Group in the period.

There has been no significant change in the financial position of the Group since that reported as at 30 June 2009.
