NXT plc - Notification of share issue

NXT PLC announces that application has been made for 221,644 ordinary shares of 1p each (the "New Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trade on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.

The New Ordinary Shares are being admitted pursuant to the exercise of options under the NXT plc 2000 Supplementary Share Option Scheme.

It is expected that admission of the New Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares in the capital of the Company, will take place on 18 November 2009.
