                              Total Voting Rights                              

Biocompatibles International plc (LSE:BII), announces that as at 3 November
2009 the total number of ordinary shares of 21 53/94 pence each in issue is
39,265,850 with each share carrying the right to one vote.

There are no shares held in treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Biocompatibles is 39,265,850.

The above figure (39,265,850) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under
the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
