The following announcement replaces the 'Application for Additional Listing' announcement released
on 12 November 2009 at 07:00.

                                Application for additional listing

Application  has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for  a  block
listing  of  6,290,000 ordinary shares in the capital of Centamin Egypt Limited to be admitted  to
the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities.
These  shares  will be issued from time to time in connection with the Company's  Employee  Option
Plan  2006  and  will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of  Centamin  Egypt
Limited.

This  admission  is expected to become effective and dealings to commence in these  shares  on  17
November 2009.
