Jupiter Second Split Trust PLC ('the Company') has received
notification from the directors of the Company listed below that
following the recent corporate action their holdings in the shares of
the Company were as follows:

Gordon A Campbell-1,901,368 Geared Ordinary shares and 210,343 Zero
Dividend Preference shares (representing 0.33% of the total voting
rights in the Company).

Philip K C Gibbs - 29,832,936 Geared Ordinary shares (representing
4.60% of the total voting rights in the Company).

Harry D Hill - 376,079 Geared Ordinary shares (of which 122,828 are
held by Mr Hill's wife and children), 614,299 Zero Dividend
Preference Shares and 106,122 Packaged units (representing 0.202% of
the total voting rights in the Company).

The Rt. Hon. Lord Lamont of Lerwick - 2,263 Geared Ordinary shares
(representing 0.0003% of the total voting rights in the Company).

There are 216,361,793 Geared Ordinary shares and 432,723,586 Zero
Dividend Preference shares in issue.  On a poll each Geared Ordinary
share carries one vote and each Zero Dividend Preference share
carries one vote.  The Packaged Units consist of one Geared Ordinary
share and two Zero Dividend Preference share.
