Grant of Options
Surgical Innovations Group plc ("Surgical" or the "Company") announces that the
Company has today granted options to subscribe for 3,800,000 ordinary shares of
1p each to directors of the Company (the "New Options"). All of the New Options
are exercisable at a price of 1.7p at any time between 11 November 2009 and 11
November 2019.
The New Options granted to the directors of the Company are as follows:

In addition, the Company announces that the exercise prices of all of the
existing options granted to directors, with the exception of the options
granted on 27 January 2009 (the "January 2009 Options"), be rebased. As a
result the Company has cancelled and reissued 20,000,000 options to the
directors of Surgical (the "Rebased Options"). All the Rebased Options are now
exercisable at 1.7p at any time between 11 November 2009 and 11 November 2019.
The terms of the January 2009 Options are unchanged.
