TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
In accordance with the provisions of Listing Rule 12.6.4, the Company hereby
notifies you that on 10 November 2009 it transferred for 3,037 Ordinary shares held
in Treasury toone participant (non-PDMR) to satisfy the early exercise of an option
under the Hays plc Sharesave Scheme.
Following this transfer, Hays plc holds 81,991,782 Ordinary shares in Treasury.
The number of shares in issue is 1,382,104,784 (excluding treasury shares).
