           CONROY TO SEEK ADMISSION OF ITS SHARES TO TRADING ON IEX            

  * Move Will Facilitate Dealing In Euro By Irish Shareholders
   
  * Admission Expected to Take Effect From 7 December 2009
   
Conroy Diamonds and Gold P.l.c. ("Conroy" or "the Company"), the AIM-listed
exploration company which has delineated a 30 mile gold trend in Ireland, is
pleased to announce that it is to seek admission of its fully-paid ordinary
shares of €0.03 each to trading on the Irish Enterprise Exchange ("IEX") of the
Irish Stock Exchange.

Admission is expected to take effect from 7 December 2009: the date of the
Company's forthcoming Annual General Meeting. The Company's IEX Adviser is IBI
Corporate Finance Limited. For the avoidance of doubt, Merchant John East
Securities Limited and City Capital Corporation Limited remains the Company's
nominated adviser and broker on AIM, respectively.

Commenting on this move, Chairman Professor Richard Conroy said:

"We already attract the interest of many Irish investors because of our
exploration success in Ireland. We believe that listing on IEX will facilitate
dealings for Irish or other investors who normally trade in Euro, particularly
as we are now at such an exciting stage with our gold discoveries in the
Clontibret-Clay Lake area of our licences.

"In addition, our most recent discovery, to the south of Clay Lake, is a very
large zinc anomaly extending over several square kilometres. With values
ranging up to 4,047ppm zinc in soil sampling, against typical background values
of less than 200ppm, this adds a new dimension to our activities since it
supports the interpretation that a significant, zoned metalliferous system may
be present in the Clontibret-Clay Lake area."
