The Board of Equest Balkan Properties Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of James Ede-Golightly as a non-executive Director with immediate effect:

James Ede-Golightly, is director of ORA Capital Partners Ltd (ORA) and its subsidiary, OCS Trading Limited. James was previously a non-executive director of Obtala Resources Plc and Equest Investments Balkans Ltd. Prior to joining ORA in 2006, James worked at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers as an investment analyst and at Commerzbank AG as a proprietary trader. James is a CFA Charter Holder, has an Economics MA from  Cambridge University and is resident in Guernsey.   

James has an indirect interest in the Company through OCS Trading Limited which owns 14.4 million shares in the Company (representing 10.29% of its share capital). James also beneficially owns 40,000 shares in the Company.

Donald Lake, Chairman of the Company, said, "We welcome the appointment of James Ede-Golightly to the Board  and look forward to working with him".
