On November 9, 2009, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation ("NTT") announced that it has filed with the Tokyo Stock Exchange and other stock exchanges in Japan on which its securities are traded information as to its financial condition and results of operations at and for the three and six months ended September 30, 2009. Please find attached an English translation of the press release.

The consolidated financial information of NTT and that of its subsidiary, NTT DOCOMO, INC., included in the press release was prepared on the basis of accounting principles generally accepted in the United States.
