Directorate Changes

Sovereign Oilfield Group Plc wishes to announce that Christopher McGeehan, Chief Operating Officer of the Group, has resigned with effect from 31 December 2009 to pursue other business interests. 

 

The Board have invited Mr McGeehan to remain with the Group as a Non-Executive Director and he has agreed.

Mr McGeehan has made a considerable contribution to the development Group and in particular the Fabrication Division of Sovereign which remains the core activity of the Group and the Board are delighted to have the ongoing benefit of Mr McGeehan's expertise.

Commenting on the above, Graham Burgess, Chairman of Sovereign Oilfield Group plc said: 

"Mr McGeehan has been headhunted to the position of Group Managing Director of a manufacturing group based in South West England. This is an excellent opportunity for him. We wish him all the best in his new venture and thank him for the significant contribution he has made to the Group".
