Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer

eServGlobal Limited (LSE:ESG) today announces the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Stephen Blundell, effective 2 November 2009. Mr Blundell will be based in the UK and replaces Jonathan Macleod in the role. As CFO, Stephen will form part of eServGlobal's senior executive management team but will not be on the main board.

Mr Blundell's previous role was part of the commercial EMEA team with Siemens in their PLM division, which provided software and services to over 46,000 customers worldwide. Prior to that, he has worked in various senior finance roles including EMEA director of finance at Adobe and UK director of finance at PeopleSoft. 

eServGlobal's Chief Executive Officer, Richard Mathews stated "The board has taken the strategic decision to locate our CFO closer to our customers and the senior field management team both in terms of time zone and location. Stephen is a senior finance professional with extensive experience in the software and technology space and I am delighted to welcome him to the Company. I would also like to thank Jonathan for the significant contribution he has made during his time with the business."
