Board announcement - Hartmut Krämer retiring from the Board

Kingfisher plc announces that Mr Hartmut Krämer, who has been a Non-Executive Director of Kingfisher for seven years, has today informed the Board of his intention to retire from the Board with immediate effect, due to ill health.

Daniel Bernard, Kingfisher's Chairman, said: "We are naturally very sorry to learn of Hartmut's decision. With his significant international retailing experience he has helped steer Kingfisher through significant change during his seven years of service. On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Hartmut for his contribution to Kingfisher and wish him well. We shall miss his dedication, humour and wise counsel."
