 Contract from Eurocopter for Personnel Location System

SCOTTY is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a new contract worth approximately Euros 1 million from Eurocopter for key positioning and communication equipment for Eurocopter's Personnel Location System (PLS) for German Army helicopters.

Using specially equipped helicopters, the system pinpoints the exact location of military personnel in the field, thus enabling them to be monitored and recovered where necessary. The PLS system operates by gaining helicopter positioning and flight data from SCOTTY's equipment, which is then combined with Eurocopter's personnel locator search data and fed into SCOTTY's Blue Force Tracking system to produce an accurate location for each soldier.

The contract is for the modification of sixteen existing helicopters to accommodate the new system, together with the supply of five "roll-on roll-off" systems for use in those helicopters, and is worth approximately Euros 1.0 million in total to the Company. Of this total, the Company has already invoiced and received Euros 0.3 million for the initial engineering phase, with the remainder of the contract due for delivery between October 2009 and November 2010.
