AMZ Holdings plc ("AMZ" or the "Company")
Suspension Announcement
Further to the announcement on 28 September 2009, the Company announces that it has been unable to raise the capital required to meet its redemption obligations in respect of its 12.9% Convertible Secured Loan Stock 2011 ("Loan Stock") in an amount of GBP1.6 million. As a result, the Company is in default under the Loan Stock Trust Agreement and has requested the suspension of its ordinary shares to trading on AIM pending clarification of its financial position. In addition, the Company has requested the suspension of trading in its Loan Stock on the PLUS quoted market.
The Company expects to explore strategic alternatives including a joint venture or sale of its assets. Further announcements will be made as and when appropriate.
