Steinweg chooses Kewill Warehousing

Kewill plc (LSE: KWL, "Kewill"), a leading provider of solutions that simplify global trade and logistics, announces that C. Steinweg Handelsveem B.V. ("Steinweg"), the Dutch-based logistics service provider, has selected Kewill Warehousing to implement a new warehouse management system. 

Kewill Warehousing is part of Kewill Logistics, the suite of software developed for logistics service providers. Steinweg will replace in-house systems with Kewill Warehousing and also use Kewill software to provide radio frequency functionality and customs support.

Steinweg have purchased an initial 250 user licenses with related professional services and support and with flexibility to add further users as required. The project will commence in October 2009, with full implementation scheduled for Spring 2010. 

Paul Nichols, Chief Executive Officer, commented: 

"This contract win continues to demonstrate that our software delivers efficiencies and improves work flow for logistics service providers. Other recent contract wins with Nokia and Lockheed Martin demonstrated the same benefits for our enterprise customers.   As we noted in our year end results, our sales pipeline includes several large deals for closure in the next six months. This contract is the third of those deals and supports the current market expectations."
