Heywood Williams Group PLC General Meeting Results

The Company announces that, at the General Meeting held today, the Proposed Restructuring and other Proposals, as set out in the circular sent to shareholders on 1 October 2009, were not approved by shareholders.

Accordingly, the Board is considering alternative ways to safeguard the operations of the Company and expects to make a further announcement shortly.
