Sirius  Exploration  announces that it was informed today that, as at 14 October 2009,  Barclays  PLC,
through  Barclays  Stockbrokers Ltd, hold 18,477,737 Ordinary Shares of 0.25p  each  in  the  Company,
representing 5.05% of the total voting rights.
