Serabi Mining plc  advises that it  has been notified  on 14  October
2009 by Mr  Steven Poulton  that he  has transferred  his holding  of
5,610,000 Serabi Ordinary Shares to  Asterion AV Ltd ("Asterion"),  a
company in which Mr Poulton  has a beneficial interest.  Accordingly,
Asterion is  now  interested  in  5,610,000  Serabi  Ordinary  Shares
representing approximately  4.0 per  cent. of  Serabi's issued  share
capital. Mr Poulton no longer holds  a direct notifiable interest  in
Serabi.
