Holding in Company

Brady plc (the "Company") was notified on 11 October 2009 that Graham Simister and associated family members, whose shares are held through R C Greig Nominees Limited, sold 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company, at the price of 69 pence per share. 

Following the sale, Graham Simister and associated family members continue to own 1,901,666 ordinary shares representing 6.75% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
