Response to statement by Delta Controls Limited

Hartest Holdings Plc ("Hartest" or "Company") notes the announcement made by Delta Controls Limited ("Delta") earlier today concerning a possible offer for the Company at a price of 50 pence per share. The directors of Hartest confirm that they have received an approach from Delta but do not believe that a recommendation can be made to shareholders to accept the offer at the proposed price level of 50 pence per share and intend to enter into discussions to establish whether the terms can be improved.

There can be no certainty that any offer will be made or the terms and condition of any such offer. A further announcement will be made in due course. In the meantime, shareholders are advised to take no action.
