Special Dividend Payment

Following the previously announced disposal of the Middle East joint venture for a total cash consideration of £2.2m, the Board of Networkers International Plc ('Networkers' or 'the Group'), the AIM-listed  international  recruitment company, is pleased to announce that it has decided to pay a one off special dividend of approximately £2 million or 2.1p per ordinary share.  The disposal has contributed to strong cash flows being produced by the operating business, and resulted in the Group net debt being reduced from £20.7m (December 2006) to £2.9 million (June 2009), and this has continued to reduce since the interim period.

 

The special dividend will be paid on 13th November to shareholders on the register on 16th October 2009. The shares will become ex-dividend on 14th October 2009.

Hereafter the Board intends to adopt a progressive dividend policy to be calculated at 25 per cent of retained earnings.
