APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Mondi Limited and Mondi plc are pleased to announce the appointment of John
Nicholas as a non-executive director with effect from 2 October 2009.
John Nicholas is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified
Accountants. He is currently a non-executive director of Ceres Power Holdings
plc, Rotork p.l.c. and Hunting PLC and a member of the UK Financial Reporting
Review Panel. He was formerly the Group Finance Director at Tate & Lyle plc and
prior to that was Group Finance Director at Kidde plc.
With immediate effect he will be appointed as chairman of the DLC Audit
Committee and a member of the DLC Nominations Committee.

strong financial background and wealth of commercial business experience to the
Mondi Group. His knowledge of long cycle industries and of doing business in
