Total Voting Rights and Capital

Aer Lingus Group plc (the 'Company') hereby notifies the market of the following:

Following the cancellation of 5,605,347 ordinary shares of €0.05 each in the capital of the Company, in accordance with section 43 of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1983, the Company's issued share capital as at 30th September 2009 consists of 534,040,090 ordinary shares of €0.05 each with voting rights.  

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 534,040,090. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
