3i Infrastructure plc announces the appointment of Ms Kirsten Charlotte Valeur Adu as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 29 September 2009.

Kirsten Charlotte Valeur Adu is a managing partner at Brook Street Partners which she founded in 2003.  Prior to founding Brook Street Partners she worked as a Director within Capital Markets at Warburg, BNP Paribas, Societe Generale and Commerzbank.  She is a member of the Institute of Directors and is regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission in the conduct of Trust Company business.

Peter Sedgwick, Chairman of 3i Infrastructure plc, said:
