Lockheed Martin chooses Kewill Flagship
Kewill (LSE: KWL), a leading provider of solutions that simplify global trade and logistics, announces that Lockheed Martin has selected Kewill Flagship to reduce the cost of shipments from suppliers. The system will be used to provide Lockheed suppliers with the most cost effective parcel shipping choices for inbound parts and materials to their manufacturing facilities. The contract was secured in partnership with Oracle and will be integrated with Oracle OTM.
Paul Nichols, Chief Executive Officer, commented,
'As I noted in our year end results, our sales pipeline included some large deals for closure in the next six months and which support the current market expectations. This contract, along with that announced with Nokia on 17th August 2009, are two of those deals and show the confidence put in us by existing customers to create cost and efficiency savings during a difficult economic climate.'
