The following directors each acquired ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company
following the exercise of nil cost options granted under the Oxford Instruments
Senior Executive Long Term Incentive Scheme. Of these shares, they each sold
sufficient to meet the tax liability and broker's costs at a sale price of
188.08p per share.
