NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS/PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND CONNECTED PERSONS

Dunelm Group plc (the 'Company') has been notified today that on 18 September 2009 Geoff Cooper, the Non-Executive Chairman, transferred 181,611 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company to his wife, Barbara Anne Cooper for nil consideration.

Mr Cooper's beneficial interest in the Company's shares has not changed as a result of this transfer and remains 181,611 ordinary shares, 0.09% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital (excluding treasury shares).
