DIRECTORS SHAREHOLDINGS

Helical Bar plc (the 'Company') announces that it was informed today that Michael Slade, Chief Executive of the Company, donated 25,000 ordinary shares to charity on 17 September 2009. This reduced his beneficial holding to 13,668,930 shares, representing 12.8% of the issued share capital of the Company.
