            SERABI MINING plc ("Serabi" or "the Company")

Serabi Mining plc advises that it  has been notified on 17  September
2009 by Mr Steven  Poulton that following  an acquisition of  shares,
his interest in the share capital of the Company has increased  above
4.00%.  Mr Poulton  has currently an  interest in 5,610,000  ordinary
shares in  the capital  of the  Company, representing  4.003% of  the
ordinary shares in issue.  Mr Poulton's  shares are held in the  name
of Barclays Stockbrokers Limited which holds additional shares in the
Company  on  behalf  of  a  number  of  other  clients  of   Barclays
Stockbrokers Limited.
