                                  Result of AGM

Stagecoach Theatre Arts (AIM: STA) announces that at its Annual General  Meeting
("AGM") held today at 10:00a.m, all resolutions were duly passed.

The Chairman, Graham Cole, made the following statement at the meeting:

"This has been another good year for the Stagecoach Group, particularly in light
of  the  difficult economic climate throughout the year.  Network fees increased
by  3.2%  to £29.4 million (2008: £28.5 million) and profit before tax increased
by 2.7% to £726,000 (2008: £707,000).

I  am  therefore pleased to report that a dividend of 2 pence per share will  be
paid  on 25 November 2009 to those shareholders on the register as at 30 October
2009.

In  the  first  quarter of the new financial year, trading has been encouraging,
with £4.8 million of network fees recorded, in line with expectations.

For  this  Autumn  Term, in the UK, the Group has contracted  to  open  ten  new
Stagecoach schools, a further 18 Early Stages classes (for the 4 to 6 year olds)
and  two SportsCoach schools.  Overseas, we expect four new schools openings  in
Germany, and one new school opening in both the USA and Greece."

One of the resolutions that was passed at the AGM was the Company's authority to
purchase  its  own  shares; and the Company is shortly going  to  write  to  its
shareholders  that hold up to 5,000 shares with regards an opportunity  to  sell
their shares to the Company.
