FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Heywood Williams Group PLC ('the Company') advises that, as required by the FSA's Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rule Sourcebook, it was notified on 15 September 2009 by IOMA Fund and Investment Management Limited on behalf of the Equity Partnership Investment Company PLC ('EPIC') that following a disposal of 2,000,000 shares on 11 September and a disposal of 11,922,960 shares on 14 September 2009 EPIC no longer has an interest in the voting rights of the Company.
