Director/PDMR Shareholding
The Berkeley Group Holdings plc (the 'Company') makes this notification in relation to transactions notified in accordance with DR 3.1.4R (1)(a).
The Company was notified on 10 September 2009 that, pursuant to the vesting of awards granted under The Berkeley Group Holdings plc 2004(b) Long-Term Incentive Plan (the '2004(b) LTIP'), 3,997,754 Ordinary Shares of 5 pence each in the Company were issued to participants of the 2004(b) LTIP on 10 September 2009, at nil consideration in accordance with the Rules of the 2004(b) LTIP. At the same time the Company was notified that, immediately following the vesting, the participants sold shares, at £9.05 per share, principally to enable them to meet the PAYE and NIC obligations arising from the vesting of these 2004(b) LTIP awards. The transactions are summarised in the tables below:
