Monitise plc (the 'Company') announces that application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the blocklisting of 3,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each (the 'shares') to be issued from time to time pursuant to the exercise of employee share options under the Monitise Employee Sharesave Plan (2007), the Monitise Employee Sharesave Plan (2008) and the Monitise 5 Year Performance Share Plan (2008). It is expected that the blocklisting will become effective on 11 September 2009. When issued, these shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares.
