NWR issues A shares to Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors

Amsterdam, 10 September 2009 - New World Resources N.V. ('NWR' or 'the Company'), Central Europe's leading hard coal producer, announces the issuance of new A shares.

NWR has today issued a total of 264,351 A shares to Mr. Miklos Salamon, the Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors, as part of his remuneration, as described in the IPO Prospectus and the Annual Report 2008. The Company has applied for these A shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and for admission to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange, the Prague Stock Exchange and the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
