Leeds Group announces that on 7 September 2009 it purchased 50,000 of its own Ordinary Shares to be held in treasury. The shares were purchased at 14.25p each. 


As a result of the above purchase, the total number of Ordinary Shares now held in treasury is 3,400,658 and the number of remaining Ordinary Shares in issue is 29,249,342.
