Board Announcement
Nichols plc, the soft drinks group, announces that it has been agreed Taylor Purkis, Group Finance Director, will step down from the Board and leave the company on 7 September 2009. The Board would like to wish Taylor the very best for the future and thank him for his contribution to the company.
Brendan Hynes, Chief Executive and former Group Finance Director, will assume Taylor's responsibilities until a permanent replacement is found.
On 5 August 2009 Nichols announced Interim Results with a strong trading outlook that was ahead of market expectations. The company remains on schedule to deliver full year results that are ahead of last year.
