Exercise of Options granted under the Executive Share Option Plan

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules of the FSA, the Company were notified yesterday that Chris Youell, a director of Howden Joinery Ltd and a person disclosing managerial responsibility within the Company, yesterday exercised options over 59,400 ordinary shares in the Company at an exercise price of 42 pence per share. All of these shares were sold upon exercise at a price of 60.35 pence per share.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4.R
