Sale of China New Energy

China Growth has today agreed to sell all of its 25% holding in China New Energy Limited ('CNE') for a cash payment of US$1.1 million. China Growth is due to receive the proceeds in two tranches, US$550,000 by 27 September 2009 and the remaining US$550,000 by 30 October 2009.

The CNE investment was held in the Company's annual accounts at 31 March 2009 at a value of ₤0.7 million (US$1 million).
