CANCELLATION OF TREASURY SHARES

Parkwood Holdings plc announces that on 27 August 2009 the Company cancelled

50,000 Treasury Ordinary Shares of 1p each.

The Capital of the Company consists of 18,665,420 Ordinary Shares with a

nominal value of 1p each, with voting rights.

As a result of this transaction, the Company holds no further shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 18,665,420.
