NERD FORCE SIGNS 2 NEW WASHINGTON TERRITORIES 

& ANNOUNCES NATIONAL CONTRACT AWARD

 

New Nerd Force® Territories

Nerd Force® Franchise Company ('NFFC'), the wholly owned subsidiary of Nexus Management, is pleased to announce the signing and launch of two new franchise territories to service the Washington  DC area,  in Bowie, Lanham and Hyattsville, Maryland. 

The new franchise announcements follow the launch of Nerd Force® in Las Vegas, in June 2009, bringing the total number of franchise territories sold to in excess of 180 (27 of which are currently active). 

Since initiating its first franchise territory in Staten Island, New York, in July 2008, Nerd Force® has become one of the fastest growing IT franchise models of its kind.

 The new franchisee, Daniel P. John, is a program manager with over 20 years' experience in software  development, helpdesk management, network architecture and program management for a variety of companies including NASA, Northrop Grumman, Marriott, and Verizon Corporation. He has been  awarded the Northrop Grumman Presidents Award and the Army General's Award, and is a fellow of the Outstanding Young Men of America Academy. Mr. John has a Masters Degree in Information Technology, an MBA in Financial Organizational Management, and a PhD in Human Psychology. He also has IT certifications in A+, MCSE, CNE, Oracle, Web Development, Project Management, and Leadership Management. 

Mr. John commented:

National Support Contract

Nerd Force® also announces that it has signed a national support service contract with Publishers Circulation Fulfillment Inc. ('PCF'), the leading independent newspaper home delivery and distribution logistical services company in the U.S. with over 100 locations across 20 US states.

PCF required a single service company to respond to all local IT repair requests for services ranging from printer repair, PC installation and support, network set-up and maintenance and general IT support. Using the helpdesk ticketing system from Nexus Management, Nerd Force was able to demonstrate to the customer how each service call would be tracked through to completion, assuring that no service request was missed.

Dan Hennessey, PCF's Vice President of IT, said: 

'Our previous experiences with several field service companies were not positive, ranging from untrained technicians and poorly handled services calls, to call tracking inability and over-billing for services. We are pleased to have found a company like Nerd Force which is able to service us efficiently in all the states in which we are active.'
