Ambarella licenses Imagination Technologies' 

high-performance graphics processor core  

Imagination Technologies Group plc (LSE: IMG; 'Imagination') - a leader in System-on-Chip Intellectual Property ('SoC IP') - reports that it has signed a multi-use license agreement with Ambarella Inc., a technology leader in high definition video compression and image processing SoCs, for a member of Imagination's POWERVR SGX graphics processor family. 

Ambarella will deploy the technology in future consumer electronics designs.

Under the terms of its licensing arrangements Imagination receives license fees and royalty revenues on shipment of SoCs incorporating Imagination's IP.
