Appointment of Non-Executive Directors, resignation of Non-Executive Directors

The Company announces that Or Elovitch and Alex Rabinovitch have been appointed as Non-Executive Directors of Pilat Media with effect from 20 August 2009. Pilat Media also announces that Mr Livne and Mr. Shalgi, both Non-Executive Directors have resigned from the Board. The Board wish to thank Mr. Livne and Mr. Shalgi for their excellent contribution.

The appointment of Mr. Elovitch and Mr. Rabinovitch is intended to strengthen the Board with the knowledge and experience they can bring in the telecommunication and media space and in the area of mergers and acquisitions.  

Information on new non-executive directors

Or Elovitch, 33, is Executive Vice President of Business Affairs and Investments for the Eurocom group and is Chairman of Sahar Investments Ltd, Eurocom Capital Finance and Eurocom Capital Underwriting, all companies within the Eurocom group. In addition, he is a director of Space-Communications; Satcom Systems; Gilat Satcom; Gaya Com; IP Planet Networks; European Global Real Estate; Smart Capital; Smile.Limudim; DBS Satellite Services (1998); Eurocom D.B.S.; Seret - The Israel's Movies Portal and Satlink Communications all companies within the Eurocom group.

Alex Rabinovitch, 38, is the Chief Executive Officer and director of Green Forest Holdings Ltd, a director and Partner in Eurocom Holdings L.P. and a director of Visually Systems Ltd. He was, until 2008 the Chief Executive Officer and director of Sahar Investments and a director of Eurocom Global Real Estate. Prior to this role Mr Rabinovitch was Senior Analyst, Head of Research and Managing Director of DS Apex, a leading Israeli investment house.
