Heywood Williams Group PLC ('the Company') announces that it received notice on 17 August 2009 from Investec Asset Management Ltd ('Investec') advising that following a disposal of shares Investec now has an indirect interest in 10,000,000 of the voting shares of the
Company. As a result Investec's percentage holding has crossed the 12% threshold and represents 11.785% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital,
