RESULTS OF AGM AND DIRECTORATE CHANGE

The Directors of China Eastsea are pleased to announce that all resolutions proposed at the Company's Annual General Meeting, held on 14 August 2009 were duly carried. 

Mr. Jiansheng Jiang has been retired by rotation as the Director of the Company with immediate effect. The Company wishes to formally acknowledge the valuable contribution that Mr. Jiang has made to the Company especially in the business of petrochemial industry.

Mr. Peter Shyn-Rong Chen aged 50, has been appointed as the Non Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect. Mr. Chen has over 15 years of experiences in direct investment in the Greater China region.  He holds an MBA degree from University of Iowa, USA and BS in Engineering from Tunghai Univerisity, Taiwan. Mr. Chen currently works as the President of MC Capital Asia Limited, a siginificant shareholder of the Company with 8,732,000 ordinary shares representing 11.29% of the issued share capital of the Company. Mr. Chen is and has been a director of the following companies in the previous 5 years. 

There are no further matters which are required to be announced with regard to this appointment under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies
