Big Yellow Group plc (the 'Company') announces that Philip Burks, a non-executive director, sold 250,000 shares on Wednesday 5 August at an average price of 359 pence per share.

This reduces Mr Burks' beneficial holding to 6,620,849 shares representing 5.21% of the issued share capital of the Company.
