Appointment of Joint Broker

The Board of Healthcare Locums plc, the UK's largest and fastest growing specialist health and social care staffing company, is pleased to announce the appointment with immediate effect of KBC Peel Hunt as the Company's joint broker.

Fairfax I.S. Plc remains as the Company's Nominated Adviser and joint broker.  KBC Peel Hunt will focus on the North American institutional investment market where the Company enjoys continuing investor support as well as wider European markets including the UK.

The Company will announce its interim results for the period ended 30 June 2009 on 7 September 2009 and reiterates the sentiment made in its Trading Update of 13 July 2009 that trading continues to be very robust with all divisions showing consistent month on month revenue growth throughout the six month period.
