Appointment of finance director

The Board of Invu is pleased to announce that Ian Smith has agreed to join the Company as Finance Director with effect from 24 August 2009.  Ian Kenneth Smith, aged 51, is a chartered accountant and most recently was Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of Pursuit Dynamics PLC.  He was previously Chief Operating Officer and EVP Finance of nCipher plc. His earlier career included senior financial management roles at Fisons Instruments, Inc. in the USA, and with Applied Reasearch Laboratories SA in Switzerland.  He is currently a director and trustee of The Mary Wallace Foundation, a registered charity supporting cancer patients and their carers, and is also director of Your Interim Solution Limited, an interim management company.
