Transaction in Own Shares

Leeds Group announces that on 31 July 2009 it purchased 100,000 of its own Ordinary Shares to be held in treasury. The shares were purchased at 14p each. 

As a result of the above purchase, the total number of Ordinary Shares now held in treasury is 3,350,658 and the number of remaining Ordinary Shares in issue is 29,299,342. 

For the purposes of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company's total issued share capital at the date of this notice is 32,650,000.

The Company's issued share capital consists of 32,650,000 ordinary shares of 12p each, with one voting right per share. There are 3,350,658 shares held in treasury, representing 10.26% of the total issued share capital.

The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 29,299,342.

The above figure of 29,299,342 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
