As a result of the allotment of Ordinary Shares during the month of July 2009, the number of voting rights in the Company has increased by 24,343. The total number of voting rights is now 57,609,647.

The above figure of 57,609,647 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations to determine whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Education Development International plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
